Plea To Michael Beckwith- Please Don’t Go Michael
By Cathy Lane | March 23, 2007
If the rumours turn out to be true Michael Beckwith might be taking a back seat in the Science of Getting Rich Program that was just launched by some of the teachers of The Secret. There’s been speculation that Michael Beckwith might be getting flack from religious groups expressing concerns over the commercial nature of The Science of Getting Rich Program.
Left: Michael Beckwith
World leader and teacher in the New Though-Ancient Wisdom tradition of spirituality. He is the founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center counting 10,000 local members and hundreds of thousands of fans all around the world.
If the rumours are true, then these people are missing a very important point. The Science of Getting Rich is a multi faceted phrase that not only has financial connotations but also refers to having a pleasantly complete, and well-rounded life. The course teaches that a rich life is one full of happiness and anything imaginable. The Law of Attraction will grant anything we so desire.
See his message here
This is my plea to everybody out there who wants to see Michael Beckwith help everyone live up to their wildest dreams and expectations to show how much of an inspiration Michael is to you and to stop him from pulling out of this initiative.
The material, with both audio and video clips Michael has, delivers such a powerful message that it should play a part. And his role in The Secret is nothing short of breathtaking. I really hope the rumours aren’t true. His teachings are wonderful and will hopefully remain a core part of the Science of Getting Rich Program. Michael Beckwith does such a wonderful job in explaining how anyone can be of greater service to the world once they practice the spiritual principles in the Science of Getting Rich.
Please let Michael and everyone know how much he is appreciated and how much you want him to be part of this Program.
Let’s feel your fire

First lets find out if maybe the change over from the site was a qlitch in the system,
Please lets not speculate. find out the “fact’s to the matter. Then we can make a determination.
Just my 2 cents.

Rev. Michael is one of the world’s most prolific and incredibly gifted Wisdom Teacher of our times.
His actions are more in-tuned with the Universe than most…Any decisions he makes are sprinkled in love, peace and in right action.
My hope that he stays with SGR…although this may be selfish. Rev. Michael’s call would be better served to all human-kind, whatever the final outcome is.
…..and so it is….Amen!

I may be wrong but unfortunately I think this is true and has been true for some time about most organized religion; it is about maintaining the status quo and maintaining control over the masses. It has been used in partnership with “Governmental” elites in this capacity for some time.
On a side note the picture one of the pictures that is amiss seems to have been sized differently than the others so maybe…. and
His part in this remains. It wouldn’t matter if he (ego) pulled out. When he was speaking of this “truth” he was speaking omnipresently.

It’s only fair that people are aware of the glitches in the system. Saying that there isn;t any doesn;t help anyone. I’m not boycotting the system, i’m only providing facts, and i have the proof to back it up.

I would plead with Dr.Beckwith to come back into this program. He is the main reason I felt inspired to join. I realize these concepts and principles are larger than just one person, but this does not feel right to me.
This could border on false advertising.
I feel very devastated by these recent changes, not the original enthusiastic mood I was in when I signed on just a few days ago.
I need to know if this is a firm decision.

I was invited by a friend to listen to an incredible woman musician quite a while ago in Torrance California. I loved the evening’s music, and was so impressed with this woman’s husband. He was the most supportive male to his wife. He remained in the background but his love and service touched my heart. Imagine my surprise when I first saw the Secret and realized it was Michael Beckwith. I felt such a strong connection to the Secret but it was even stronger because I had already seen him in action, when he thought he was not being observed. When I saw the website today and his picture was gone, it truly was hurtful because I felt the most connected with his story.

good points andrew! thanks for sharing. im gonna wait n see what happens, please tell us what more u find out!

It is a shame the amount of energy that is being given to all sort of counter productive speculation. For all of Andrews proof he has no proof…only speculation based on one incident that may have a very logical explanation.
Do we believe in the Secret, or is it just words with no foundation for some?
I for one do not intend to lend any unproductive energy to this, but rather would encourage an explanation from Michael.

Ok …. here is my personal plea as well. Please don’t allow narrow minded thinkers to pull you out of the role you can serve so well here!

Mike,
Despite all said I would like to thank you for responding to my email and writing to me personally. I understand that your system has it’s glitches but keeping everyone unaware of it is;t going to help anybody. I hope you understand why I have made these comments, I’am not condemning your system. I’am only stating facts.

Some useful Information:
Here are tips to help you avoid losing money to an illegal pyramid scheme or a fraudulent multi-level marketing plan:
Avoid plans with “Headhunter Fees” - any plan that offers commissions just for recruiting additional distributors. It is illegal to pay for simply signing others up.
Avoid plans with “Front Loading” - plans that ask new distributors to spend money on high-priced inventory. These plans can collapse quickly - and also may be illegal pyramids in disguise. The requirement of a minor purchase of a set of initial business materials (order forms, catalogs, etc.) does not fall into this category.
Avoid plans that are “Free to Join” - Use a little common sense - why in the world would anyone be offering to set you up in a business that costs them money and you absolutely nothing? There are hidden costs always around the corner in these “free” businesses, once they have snared you in. There is a saying that many go by (falsely) of “if you have to buy the kit, it ain’t legit” - that is absolutely the worst possible indicator of legitimacy. Any legitimate business is going to cost something to start. NO business of value is free to start - even a child’s Kool-Aid stand costs the parents the sugar, drink mix and cups that it takes to make and sell the drinks.
Avoid plans that claim that you “don’t have to work hard” - although MLM is a different style of business than standard retail storefront type business , it is nonetheless hard work (in a different manner) to build your business - any claims to the contrary should raise red flags as to the veracity of anything else the claimant is telling you.
Avoid plans that claim you will always make money because your downline will always grow - plans that claim you’ll make money through continued growth of your “downline” - the commissions on sales made by new distributors you recruit - instead of through sales you make yourself. No one can guarantee your downline business growth - ever. Again, it is your efforts that will cause this to happen or not happen - no other guarantees should be respected.
Avoid “Snake Oil” plans - plans that promise enormous earnings or claim to sell miracle products. Just because a promoter of a plan makes a claim doesn’t mean it’s true! Ask the plan’s promoter to back up the claims with hard evidence - then verify that evidence to the best of your ability.
Avoid Shills - “decoy” references that the promoter pays to describe fictional success in earning money through the plan. Anyone making claims should be verified as to veracity - if the plan is legitimate, no false claims will be made… although there are some unscrupulous MLM’ers will make false claims about legitimate MLM opportunities to try to make them sound more enticing. Learn to separate the bogus “distributor” (a person) from a bogus opportunity (a company) and don’t transfer the onus of the bad person onto the good company - there are bad apples in every business, MLM or other, who will attempt to deceive you. In this case, if the company looks good, but the “distributor” doesn’t, find a legitimate distributor (call the company and ask for the names of several distributors in your area and the call them all) and check it out further.
Avoid the “Matrix” type MLM - the plan that only pays you on X number of distributors wide and Y number of distributors deep. These plans are self-limiting on the amount of money you will make - anything outside of that “matrix” is lost money and effort.
Avoid “Instant” decisions - don’t pay or sign any contracts in an “opportunity meeting” or any other high-pressure situation. Take your time to think over a decision to join. Check it out thoroughly first. If it is a good opportunity today, it will be a good opportunity next week, especially after you have had time to check it out more thoroughly. If the person wanting to get you involved avoids giving you time, or wants you to make a decision right then and there, beware! A legitimate offer will encourage thorough research, and even point you to third party sources to get it.
Avoid the “Groundfloor Opportunity” snare - plans that hawk themselves as “Just as good as ABC Company only better - now you have a Ground Floor Opportunity.” While a new company might not be bad, it certainly doesn’t have a track record of being good! Also, if where you get in makes a difference as to your success potential, it’s probably an illegal pyramid scheme. Legitimate MLMs have the same opportunity for success no matter where or when you get in, and always allow you to make more money than your sponsor if you work at it more than they do. Besides, would you rather be the one starting the trail through the forest with a machete or be the one driving down the autobahn in a Mercedes? Ground Floor or Penthouse? Plans that have been around a long time have been around a long time for a reason - they have proven products and methods that work, and others who have made mistakes you can learn from so that you won’t have to. There are legitimate MLM opportunities that have been around almost 4 decades.
Avoid the “One Product” company - when a company has only one product or service to market, it is vulnerable. Look for a company that is diversified enough to withstand the loss of a single product or even an entire product line. Selling Blue-Green Algae that only comes from Crater Lake, Oregon as a health aid might be fine (not asserting here or endorsing it as truly a health aid, just using it as an example), but what if Oregon decides to enact legislation to prohibit the harvesting of plants and other natural life from State or National Parks? You might have the finest vitamin on the market, but what if a disgruntled former distributor goes to he press with stories [whether true or not] of how the makers know it causes cancer but won’t release that information? We all know that the media loves hyperbole, controversy, and spectacular stories over the truth any time. If you take a hit in the media when you only have one product, you are history - whether that story was true or not. There have been actual cases of companies put out of business literally overnight after bad publicity which was later proved false.
Avoid the “Here’s your kit, now go and do it” MLM - legitimate MLMs almost always have some sort of a training program or support groups with proven track records. Mentorship is an important principle in all areas of life, and business (especially MLM, which by definition is a different type of business) is no exception. Find the training groups and ask questions, question, and more questions.
Don’t just take the word of the person trying to get you involved - do your homework! Check with your local Better Business Bureau and state Attorney General about any plan you’re considering, especially if the claims about your potential earnings or the product sound too good to be true.

Wow - What a Discussion. Here is my OFFICIAL TAKE.
1. Affiliates posting links to their sites were ALL DELETED. DO NOT SPAM on this forum.
2. Yes, the SGR Seminar was once affiliated with the Secret - no longer. It was originally linked to the Secret. Read Rhonda’s Post on their blog. Don’t know why Bob and the Secret folks decided to separate. But given that this has happened before, (the Secret Folks and Abraham-Hicks) - perhaps mass fame resulted in the Secret wanting to build their own brand name. Nothing wrong with that - SGR is based on the same book “Science of Getting Rich”
3. Yes, the original business model of the SGR seminar was flawed. But I trust Bob Proctor is a good man and that’s why he took off the site to update the model. The new site went up today. It’s nothing along the lines of an MLM - but more like a regular affiliate program. Let me disclose that I am also an affiliate. But I do not comment spam. And I keep my affiliate marketing minimal and separate from much of my blog writing. I started this blog BEFORE I became an affiliate.
4. MindValley did the website work and produced the free course behind the SGR seminar. They do a lot of free course online and have a good following. Check out TheAmericanMonk.com. They are not responsible for the SGR Product - just the website building and production of the 7 Lessons Free Online Course. This blog is OWNED by MindValley. I am one of the bloggers that work for them part-time. Other blogs are MindHacks.org and LearnRemoteViewing.com. Pretty good content - not much ads. MindValley gives out tons of free content. It’s their business model. Their founders are meditation fanatics.
I deleted comments from Andrew and Hisham that were suggestive of ulterior motives. I am laying out the facts here.
Thanks Everyone!
March 28th, 2007 at 3:52 am
Cathy,
First of all let me start by saying deleting my comments on the SGR Program was not very fair. Hiding information from people is a very bad business practice. You Claim my comments were “suggestive of ulterior motives” and that you are only stating fact.
If that was true, why didn’t you just reply to my comments with your own view on the SGR Program. If you were indeed only stating the truth, my comments would have mean’t nothing to you.Whether you admit it or not you chose to delete my comments because you knew what I said was true.
Certain concerns I brought up in my comments were also confirmed by vishan who works at mindvalley, in his email to me.
Deleting my comments only proves that my suspicions were correct - You guys do have something to hide and you dont want anyone to know about it.
Hisham was your way of promoting your product with biased comments.
Deleting my comments helped to cover the truth I discovered. You conveniently deleted all the posts in which I have stated facts and evidence that questioned the credibility of the SGR system and left only the posts that make me comments now seem aimless.
I’ve got to admit that was a clever move on your part, but please don’t presume I’m that foolish. I had taken screenshots of all the comments I made on your blog so that people who read my other posts will now know what I had uncovered and what you tried so brilliantly to hide.
Everyone has the right to know what I had posted - Especially since much of it was fact. Forgive me if I’m wrong, but freedom of speech is a god given right. Nothing is perfect and If the SGR system has flaws and someone like me uncovered some of them, people have the right to know. This is a $2000 product afterall, I’m sure many people would appreciate all the info thay can get.
Hiding the fact the your initial SGR affiliate program was ILLEGAL in the United States and Many other Countries, is plain wrong- and there is no excuse good enough to justify the removal of my comment which stated that.
The first affiliate program was in violation of the companies act and did break the law. People deserve to know that.
However if you wish to hide it on your blog, by all means do so. It doesn’t really make a difference. There are many other blogs and websites on the Secret and the law of attraction that would welcome posts like mine considering that I have the evidence to back up my claims.
Secret Fans like me are not foolish, it is very evident that this is just another one of those schemes that is configured to capitalize on a market niche like the secret.
As I said in my previous post, I do have a friend who foolishly purchase your course when it was initially released and he’s not happy at all with the fact that your initial affiliate set up was illegal and that you are now offering affiliate oppurtunities for free.Who could blame him? I garuntee he;s not the only one who feels this way aswell.
What you guys did was wrong. Instead of covering up what you did with lies and concealing the truth. I think it’s about time you tell everyone the honest truth. This is my personal plea to all of you.
I have a copy of my previous comments and I do intend to with the help of others hopefully get my message accross. If you’re under the impression that I’m the only one who’s going to post comments of this sort you’re wrong.
The Secret community is big, I’ve made tons of friends through the Secret some of which have purchased your product and as you’ve guessed they’re not happy with it at all. Just because they are not expressing their concerns publicly doesn’t mean they aren’t doing anything about it.
From what I understand some are even thinking of have even emailed Interpol & the Bureau with regards to your initial affiliate program ( I don’t mean the Bad Business Bureau, I think you know perfectly well what I mean). Crimes of Persuasion are a serious offence and misrepresenting your orginal affiliate program as a two tier affiliate program similar to that of ebay and amazon was not a good thing to do. This is something Google would definately like to know - They are not fond of websites that practice such schemes.
I suggest you read up on affiliate programs, it’s very evident you don’t know anything on them. You said you were stating fact and I was suggesting ulterior motives. The truth is I’m stating fact and your just trying to hide them because you know if people find out that your initial affiliate system was illegal no one would trust the SGR Program.
Your Initial affiliate program required the purchase of the briefcase to become an affiliate, let me make this clear for all. THIS IS ILLEGAL AND SUGGESTIVE OF AN MLM. A real two tier affiliate system is supposed to allow affiliates to join for free.
That’s what your doing now. However just because you made some changes to your system doesn’t mean you didn’t break the law. As I explained before If someone were to steal a car and later return it to its owner he would still be guilty of theft and there is nothing that he can say or do that would change that. I’am sure you are well aware of this, that would explain why you took down my comments.
As you know I’m a journalist and I find it my duty to inform people of the real truth behind things like this. However its become obvious you have no intention of playing fair, so posting my comments here are just a waste of time as you would eventually delete them. I’m sure you will delete this one as well.
There are thousands of other unbiased forums and blogs that would value the information I have.
In a way I would like to thank you for deleting my post, you only proved to me and to many others that I directed to your website, that your website looks biased and has ulterior motives of its own.
I would also like clarification on another matter. If I may Cathy I would like to know, why no one reading this blog was informed that you were an affiliate for the SGR Program or that you worked for mindvalley? ( although they may claim they were innocent, from what i understand mindvalley did come up with the affiliate program atleast that is what Bob said in his speech at the SGR Program seminar. They share equal responsibility in this).
You claim that you keep affiliate marketing minimal and separate from much of my blog writing. I started this blog BEFORE I became an affiliate.
Sure I trust you…Isn’t that what they all say.The fact that no one was told of this before makes it even more hard to believe that this blog wasn’t created to market the SGR Program.
To be honest Cathy, you’re in this just as much as the others. Denial will get you nowhere,You have to much extensive knowledge on the secret and the SGR Program to just be a part-time blogger. Usually people blog about things they are very familiar with.
I tried to look you up online on google and never found anything? No mention of you whatsoever. Your only connection with the Secret lies with this Blog. There is no mention of you anywhere else, surely if you’re such an expert on this subject you should have been mentioned somewhere else.
I don’t know who you are or where you came from but I do know this I personally feel your blog is not worth reading any longer, biased information helps no one. This blog was created simply as a front to get people interested in the SGR Course.
Take sometime to review this, everyone who has read this post:
If this Program is So Great? Why did Michael Beckwith and Rhonda Byrne want nothing to have to do with it?
(Cathy’s is an affiliate and does work for the SGR Program so her take on this cannot be considered a 100% accurate.
You can already tell from her comment that she is very good at promoting her companies products:
“MindValley did the website work and produced the free course behind the SGR seminar. Their founders are meditation fanatics.”
If this isn’t promotion I don’t know what is….
Btw: This is not spam. I don’t condone spam and I never will. This Comment is based on some of my personal research and thoughts. I have posted this comment for everyone to read and I think it is only fair that everyone has the chance to read it. I’m not condemning the SGR Program, I’m merely commenting on my concerns with the system. I hope the admin understands this.
March 28th, 2007 at 3:58 am
Vishan,
I would like to thank you for your email and for the history of mindvalley. I really appreciate the time you took to write to me. However, I must inform you that your email still failed to address certain concerns I had with the system you have launched. All I learnt from your email was with regards to the founding of Mindvalley and about the silva method. Truth be told, I much preferred Mike’s email to me as he was able to address certain concerns in my previous deleted posts. I still would like to thank you for your honesty in the email, and I hope you yourself would make your email public so that everyone would be entitled to an explanation.
cheers!
Andrew

Micheal Beckweth you are so cool. I wish that hw isn’t going to off. I don’t know about this religous stuff but I really like you and you are inspiring. If you are leaving why??!!!! I please beg you not to. Please! Your awesome.
You and Bob both are very inspiring to me. And I am only an teenager. But whatever. Leave if you want. I wish you wouldn’t though.
You… know Micheal Beckwith doesn’t have to leave but… Fine go with the peer pressure! Hmph.
Why doesn’t his collgues agree with this I mean it helps thousands of people! Anyway… I just read another person’s post. This is not false advertising! I know… I am not going doupt just because he’s leaving. I trust Bob Proctor.
March 29th, 2007 at 4:51 am
Hi Andrew
The only comment deleted was the one where you shared Mike’s private email. Your comment on SGR is still there.
As for the SGR Program - Bob Proctor did a live call with all affiliates last night and apologised for his original business model. He said he made a mistake that caused his model to be nothing more than a MLM type thing and not an affiliate model in the true sense. He offered anyone a refund if the requested and he offered an extra seminar kit to those who wanted that. The call was full of love and warmth - many affiliates said so both during the live call and in the forum.
I know Bob and his team made a mistake. The apologized for it.
Andrew - I certainly disagree with you saying my blog is biased. Look at StevePavlina - he’s the top blogger and this field and he runs 10 times more ads than me. He has a million readers.
April 20th, 2007 at 5:13 am
Cathy,
I apologize for not responding to you earlier, I have been very busy with work these past couple of days.
From your recent comment, it has become very clear where you stand. Your company claims to have a lot of integrity and in an email to me your boss said he would not participate in anything fraudulent.
If that is the case - Why do you continue to blatantly Lie?
I thought this was supposed to be the science of getting rich not the art of lying - If this was the art of lying I would have considering investing in your course because you have shown me first hand proof that you’ve mastered the art of lying.
You claim you only deleted one post of mine, the one where I shared Mike’s views on the SGR Program.
Cathy, I think we both (and all the thousands of people and my friends that I have directed to this blog post) know that you deleted 3 of my posts.
The first one was about the SGR Video promo you guys did where I questioned the people behind the SGR Program about Andrea who also happens to go by a different name and who apparently works at Mindvalley (the company developing this project) as a project manager.
The Second was about Hisham, I guess I couldn’t have been more right. You deleted my post about Hisham because you knew I was on your trail and you didn’t want anyone to know that Hisham was just created to prevent people from thinking there were any glitches and flaws with the system.
The Third post of mine was about Mike’s email and personally I don’t think i did anything wrong by posting about it. Your forget, people are paying $2000 for this product and they deserve to know every bit of information before buying it. Hiding information from people especially when your product already raises red flags only leads people to believe that it’s just another scam. Which at this point I think is very evident.
You failed to mention that the initial launch of the SGR Program was indeed an MLM and according to what I believe was illegal.
That’s why Bob proctor quickly acted to provided refunds or replacement kits. I guess he knew if he didn’t do something he would have a class action law suit on his hands.
If your working for Mindvalley and you’re an affiliate yourself for the product I don’t see why you couldn’t mention that in a simple blog post.
It’s obvious you didn’t want people to know that the SGR Program initially committed a criminal offence or else people wouldn’t buy the SGR Program.
So when your boss tells me that this Product is for the Good Of People, how in the world do you expect me to believe him when the evidence clearly shows that this was always just about the money!
I would also like to inform you, that although you claim some affiliates are still happy with the SGR Program. In reality Some are still very upset.
One of them even pointed out some information which I’m sure you will find very interesting. Since I do not reside in Malaysia - I only work here on a Temporary basis as an editor, I’m not very familiar with Malaysian laws.
Apparently, it’s illegal to Sell any product in Malaysia in foreign currency or so I hear. I believe that’s exactly what Bob Proctor and Mindvalley ( Your Company) did at the SGR event in Prince Hotel, Malaysia. You sold the Course for US$1995 there and there’s no denying it this time round…
I’m still unclear on Malaysian Laws but I have a few people looking into it and I suggest your company does the same.
Jean if you’re reading thanks for the info.
If this is true, your course would have broken Two Laws in the first few months of it’s launch. Now, that’s a course worth investing US$2000 in!
Really Cathy, Your claiming your not biased. I find it very difficult to believe some one who is an affiliate of the SGR program and who happens to work at the company developing the website to market it isn’t using this blog as platform to close sales. It’s all very coincidental don’t you think.
Claiming that you only deleted one post of mine. Tisk, Tisk! I don’t think you’re aware so let me just refresh your memory - I took shots of the blog post and I know exactly what I posted.
I’m not blind and I certainly know how to count. Please do not insult my intelligence by making false claims you cannot even support with proof.
cheers,
andrew

Cathy,
I’m sure this will keep you and the folks at Mindvalley busy, enjoy…
The Central bank of Malaysia Act makes it an offence to use anything other than ringgit as currency within Malaysia, i.e. selling or buying with US dollars.
The way I understand it, you should think of it as the Central Bank of Malaysia Act making all use of foreign currency here illegal, and then only the later act allowing money-changing in a controlled and licensed way.
cheers,
Andrew
P.S. - I dont know if this Information is accurate but if it is I can’t wait to see how Bob and the folks at Mindvalley tackle this one…
April 20th, 2007 at 7:47 am
“Cathy”,
I forgot to bring this up earlier so I thought I’d discuss it now.
Last week I had dinner with a Friend of mine in Law Enforcement.
He had some very interesting thoughts on this issue, paticularly one concerning you - “cathy”.
If you are really who you say you are i.e. Cathy Lane, I’m sure you won’t mind providing us with some kind of legit proof like a scan of your drivers license etc…to prove me wrong.
I have reason to believe that “Cathy Lane” doesn’t exist and If you really are Cathy Lane I’d like to be proven wrong.
Need I remind you, Identity theft is a very serious offence in both Malaysia and The United States. It is also in certain cases punishable with Jail time.
If you came up with this fake identity to write a blog to sell the SGR Program shame on you!
Coming up with a fake identity using someone elses name could get you in a heap of trouble, and all this for a company you work for as a blogger!
You ought to seriouly think about this “cathy”.
This applies to you as well “Hisham”.
Cheers,
Andrew
P.S. -
StevePavlina may be the top blogger in this field and he may run 10 times more ads than you, but I highly doubt he Lies, deletes comments and misrepresents info. That’s probably why he has a million readers. You could stand to learn a thing or two from him.
April 20th, 2007 at 6:55 pm
“Cathy”,
Based on your ability to disguise the truth, I just wanted to add that any proof of your identity i.e. drivers license etc will be cross checked with the proper authorities.
This will be done in an effort to ensure that you don’t edit someone elses ID with Adobe Photoshop. I’m sure you know Conceiving a Fake identity is also a crime.
If you are who you say you are - Prove me wrong!
Cheers,
Andrew

To Vishen, Mike, Cathy and the Mindvalley Team
I really hope this time around you won’t delete my comments claiming they were spam to prevent people from knowing the truth.
If your company truly does have integrity, Leave these comments alone…
sincerely,
Andrew

Here is proof of the SGR Program’s honesty:
Pay close attention to their first testimonial on their website by Shazlan Sufian.
Again this was another false and biased testimonial. Shazlan Sufian is Brian Wong’s (One of the partners behind the SGR Program) business partner.
You can view his blog here on loasgr.com/blog/blog.html
Read his blog post entitled: How I Found Out About SGR
Paragraph 6
“8th of Dec ‘06 - The Faithful Day! - It started like any normal day, but after lunch it stopped being just normal and became one of those days you will always remember. I had received a call from my business partner, Brian, who told me to just drop everything and come to a meeting that evening at 7pm.”
That would explain him writing a good review about the product he’s probably earning money from its sales…
This is similar to what Mindvalley has done for their testimonials on their Mindvalleylabs product. They have a testimonial from Iplaymusic which is a company that Mike the Co-owner of Mindvalley created.
Again, i’m pretty sure after reading this the folks at the SGR Program will probably edit these comments or delete them to cover up their lies.

Hey Franx,
I’m not the owner of this website. This website is run by the Team behind the SGR Affiliate Program - Mindvalley. Thanks for contacting me and do keep in touch, I’m an avid fan of the secret and the Law of attraction and I will do what I can to help the community…

Hi Andrew
You’re welcome top come visit us in the office. At this point you’re trying to dig up dirt when there is none. For example, Mike did found iPlayMusic - but he left the company and gave up all shares years ago. Now he does consulting for them.
As for my name - no of course it not Cathy Lane - that’s a blogger profile. Lots of people use pseudonyms - expecially women on the net who value their privacy. You’re very welcome to came meet us in person - wish you would take us up on this offer rather than try to fling mud.
April 23rd, 2007 at 2:24 am
Cathy,
Frankly I don’t see how I’m trying to “fling mud” at your company. Testimonial’s are a way for potential customers to judge the product a company is trying to sell.
What good is a Testimonial if it came from
business partners who stand to gain from the sales of that product
or
friends who feel compelled to write good testimonials for their friend inorder to get his/her business going.
If anything it is plain dishonest. Imagine your buying a product on Amazon and later find out all those great reviews you read were written by the staff of Amazon or by the product manufacturer, how would that make you feel? I know for a fact I would feel cheated and never shop there again…
Testimonials are a way of telling if a business is honest and trustworthy. Your boss claimed Mindvalley was a trustworthy company. Would a trustworthy company have customer testimonials like that? The answer is No. Many honest online businesses do not accept testimonials from anyone related to their company or anyone who has interests in their company. It misleads customers and is morally and ethically wrong.
Mike may have left Iplaymusic, but he still has interests with them. He’s their consultant. And Quincy is probably a good friend of his. When a friend reviews another friends product its very likely he’s going to be biased towards it.
The same applies to Shazlan Sufian however in this case he’s Brian Wongs business partner and so stands to make significant monetary gains from the sale of the product.Which is why it is ethically wrong for him to have reviewed the SGR Program.
As for your name. It’s no surprise to me that your not really Cathy Lane.
I had someone email me a link to a website I found very interesting so let me share it with you, apparently the guy who sent me this link has been doing some research on this matter for a blog post he’s about to write.(This is in no way related to Franx)
This was his discovery:
Your company has the profiles of all of its employees on their corporate website. Google each employee name and you’ll find out who has the best connection with the secret and the secret notes. He tried it and it worked.
On Cultivategreatness.com , Mindvalley employee David Siddall who also happens to be a blogger submitted various articles on the secret notes for blog promotion. This wasn’t the only website he submitted articles to!
I can’t say for sure if your David or not, but this is a very interesting finding. Especially since No other employee other than Vishen and Mike had such a connection to the secret notes or the secret for that matter.
If Cathy Lane was infact a pseudonym it would have been nice specify it on the blog about me page. Reason being privacy.
I can understand you value your privacy on the web. I value my privacy aswell. But you’re writting a blog about a very sensitive topic that requires complete honesty eg: how you came about the secret, how you use it in your own life?
Considering the Company that runs this blog is also connected to the SGR Program and you choose to use a different name poses many questions.
cheers,
Andrew
April 23rd, 2007 at 2:38 am
Here’s another interesting peice of information, reportedly Brian Wong a guy who plays an integral role in the SGR Program and who’s also the Co Creator of the SGR Program made US$100,000 in his first month. Way to go Brian!
It’s pretty obvious where this is heading. I got the chance to read up on MLM Schemes when I was doing research on this subject and as many of you already know. MLM or Pyramid Schemes always land up with the Guys at the top (Or the guys behind the whole scheme) making the most money. No surprise there!
If this wasn’t really an MLM I wonder why they changed the original illustrated business model which resembled a Pyramid like Jean pointed out to me.
April 24th, 2007 at 7:53 pm
Is the SGR Program just a well marketed pyramid scheme?
I’ve taken some time in this comment to review this system in terms of simple economics and math so everyone can judge for themselves if this is just another pyramid scheme/MLM.
Look at it this way, if one person sells the course to ten people, and those ten people sell to another hundred. Eventually the market will get saturated - Meaning there will be to many sellers in the market.
As it stands they are already allowing people to become an affiliate of the course for free which will only double, if not triple the number of sellers.
When there are so many sellers in the market competition is likely to increase and like in all businesses only experienced sellers or marketers will survive.
This is simple economics that many have failed to realize.
Professional Internet Marketers like Brian Wong and many others connected to the program will stand to make the most money as they are experienced in this business and know the many methods of online promotion for example SEO optimization etc.
So where does that leave all the people who have no experience in internet marketing but who were told by people like “Andrea” that it would be easy for them to get started…
No where! Those who bought the program thinking that they could make a living from it, just by using the tools given with the course won’t make much or any money at all.
This is how most MLM schemes work. Its simple math and economics. The guys at the top always land up with the most money and that’s why systems like these are outlawed in many countries.
Furthermore Brian isn’t the only professional Internet Marketer selling this course. The SGR Program is also connected with many top marketers that include Stephen Pierce, Mindvalley and a few others who are acting affiliates.
These marketers have inside connections with the SGR Program and have probably made a fair share of money from the commissions that were paid out recently.
Therefore determining the success of the system from the commissions paid is not a good way of looking at things.
Most of the commissions paid were to professional marketers connected to this program as affiliates, and chances are it will always stay that way.
I’m not asking you to people to abandon their hope with this system, but please give it some careful thought.
April 24th, 2007 at 8:01 pm
Also, I would keep on the look out for upsell’s. I have the feeling that members of this system will probably be sent offers for products like the Mindvalleylabs course, claiming that it will help them market their course more effectively.
There’s no denying that this is one heck of a marketing ploy!
With the SGR Program not as easy to promote as they claimed, they stand to make some good money by capitalizing on the weakness which people have i.e. the inability to promote their website.
So I wouldn’t be surprised if people are hit with offers for the mindvalleylabs course.
Everything just seems so oddly coincidental…

Cathy
This Andrew guy is such a con. He was emailing SGR reps misleading them…telling them he signed up people on their tier 2 level and trying to stir up stuff with all of the successful reps. He has ZERO credibility. I would dismiss him and delete every comment he has. It’s called a vendetta. He signed up…couldn’t promote (obviously doesn’t understand LOA) and now has a bone to pick. I got proof.
April 24th, 2007 at 11:45 pm
Jack,
Your very much mistaken. I haven’t signed up for the SGR Program and I don’t intend to. Please do not make claim without proof. I never emailed any SGR reps claiming I signed up and I won’t tolerate any such accusations. Ask the SGR folks themselves - I have not signed up for their system!
April 24th, 2007 at 11:50 pm
The way I see it jack, you either just another false Identity created by the Folks behind the SGR System or an affiliate of the system trying to stop the facts from being shown inorder to protect you interests.
If you make false accusations that I signed up people I would like to see them!
Let me make myself clear Jack, I won’t tolerate lies and false accusations.
Ask the SGR Folks themselves - I have not joined thier affiliate system and I don’t intend to after finding out the real hidden facts.
April 24th, 2007 at 11:58 pm
Jack,
Why don’t we make things more interesting, If you claim I - “signed up people on their tier 2 level” I would like to see proof so my friend in Law enforcement can Investigate. Please post the proof here or email it to me at andrewgllr@yahoo.com
April 25th, 2007 at 12:03 am
Jack,
Please understand this. I intend to pursue this matter and I demand to see proof of your claims. Proof that I claimed I signed people up for this program. Show me the proof and I will have this investigated. I’m not sure what you’re trying to pull but I intend to find out.
April 25th, 2007 at 12:35 am
Cathy,
If you taken down my comments like Jack has suggested, that will be proof enough that Jack was either a fake identity like hisham or an affiliate of the system.
My comments have proof to back them up and despite the fact that I would never personally invest in the SGR Program after looking at my friends state, I have specified in my comments that the comments I have made are not to condemn the system - I would just like people to think twice before purchasing this course.
If your company does have integrity like it claims leave the comments alone and lets wait for a reply from Jack. I want to see some real proof from him (like email headers) so I can have his claims investigated.
I admit, I did email people who emailed me with regards to this program and I did post about this program on other blogs, but I never claimed that I signed people up for the program or that I had registered for the program.
I have not registered for this program and claiming that I have is a very good way of making my comments seem aimless or an act of revenge, but when you make a claim like that Jack I expect it to come with proof.
cheers,
Andrew

I just tried accessing my Yahoo account and there seems to be a problem with my account now. The strange thing is when I login with my wife’s ID everything works perfectly. I don’t want to jump to conclusions but this is awfully strange. I have contacted yahoo and i intend to call their customer care to sort this out. If by any chance my account was hacked into I will make sure yahoo and I pursue this matter with the authorities. I don’t want to jump to conclusions but as I said before this is a very strange occurance, and the fact that my wife’s account works perfectly but I’am unable to access mine is very strange. Yahoo has a strict policy against account hackers and they pursue hackers to the full extent of the Law. If this was indeed some hacker trying to get access to the info in my account, stop this now! Server details don’t lie and they will help the authorities track you down.
Jack if you do intend to prove yourself email me at andrewmasura@hotmail.com or post a comment on this blog.

I changed my whole thinking process because of Michael Beckwith. He for some reason spoke directly to my soul. When I first heard him speak. I was mesmerised by his pure fluid voice. Please continue your work. You are going to change the universe.
April 26th, 2007 at 4:32 pm
Aloha Cathy,
I have recently joined the SGR program and and I’m happy that Rev. Michael Beckwith is very much part of the SGR program.
The audio version on the training is incredible and every point
he, Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield make resonates within me. He may have taken a backseat role after the relaunch for whatever reason. I’m sure he’s an incredibly busy man. I am very greatful to have found out about him and Agape and look forward to meeting him someday. He is doing incredible work in the world.
I don’t have much to say about Andrew’s comments above
because responding to him is like feeding a two year old a boatload of chocolate. The fact that you haven’t deleted and are still posting his comments on YOUR blog not only nullifies each negative statement he makes but is a true testiment to your integrity and I commend you. I remember Mother Theresa’s view of focussing not on antiwar but propeace. He is definitely spending a lot of his energy being anti SGR when he obviously has no idea what its about. If he really understood the Law of Attraction as he claims he would be focusing more on bettering himself rather than accusing and threatening others of misconduct. All I will say to Andrew is just that you should go back and watch the dvd a few more times
Personally I have found this SGR training to be the singlemost powerful training and I support it wholeheartedly. After watching The Secret I was hungry for more information and guidance. I have found it all right here. The information in the SGR briefcase is worth more than the $1995, it is priceless. Along with the knowledge you gain, you are given a means by which to spread this self-actualizing information to the world and make money doing it. The SGR affiliates program is still very new and all benefits which come with the main website are about to be fully functional. The “official” softlaunch was just a few weeks ago. Many improvements have already been added such as weekly free coaching calls with Bob Proctor himself. Take it from someone who is of sound mind and spirit - As Rev. Michael Beckwith said “It’s not about the money its about you becoming more you.”

Thank you Kepa, I totally agree with your comments. I listen to the MP3 player every chance I get. It is sad that so many people are filled with negativity. There were many things that needed fixing and they have done their best. They did not try to deceive anyone. Those of us that joined during prelaunch and decided to stick with it, have been blessed with receiving 2 briefcases :).
I wish all of you much joy and prosperity in your life. Faith, Family & Finance ^j^
Aloha!
April 26th, 2007 at 6:28 pm
Keppa & Margie,
It’s no surprise you’re going to say you have had success with the program. All your links are SGR Program affiliate links. You’re all affiliates, which means you earn money under eveyone who registers with you. Telling people your not successful would make people doubt this program and reduce the number of potential sign ups you get which explains why you are in such praise of this program.
Cheers,
Andrew
April 26th, 2007 at 6:35 pm
So much for integrity, Keppa maybe you haven’t been reading. Cathy took down 3 of my comments and it was only when I told her to stop deleting my comments or I would post elsewhere did she/he finally listen and leave my comments alone…
April 26th, 2007 at 9:08 pm
Aloha Margie and All,
All the best to you too! I use the mp3 player almost everywhere I go and now you’ve got 2! Its amazing - I get in such a great mood just hearing Beckwith’s voice. Beautiful…

Update:
The People behind the SGR Program have done it again! This time they’ve emailed affiliates and other bloggers asking them to take down my posts/comments. I won’t take names for privacy concerns but I recently received an email from a Guy who claimed he had to take down my comments on his blog because the SGR Team told him to do so and because he was somewhat connected to their affiliate system.
You would think that a company that claims it runs a legit system would defend its program instead of adopting such a sneaky way to hide information about it’s program. Why are they going to such lengths to keep information that is potentially helpful to the public?
At this point I’m pretty much convinced this is nothing more than a “Get Rich Quick Scheme” and I suggest those thinking of investing in this system give it some serious thought.
Don’t listen to their affiliates or read their biased testimonials, ask people you can really trust or people in the financial business for advice.
cheers,
Andrew
P.S. - “Jack” I’m still waiting for your reply and I somewhat get the feeling it’s never going to come…
May 13th, 2007 at 4:01 pm
Cathy,
Recently it has come to my attention that some of the people involved in the SGR Program affiliate system were previously involved in MLM / Pyramid Schemes that were illegal and thus shut down by the authorities. Care to explain?
May 14th, 2007 at 12:33 pm
I think it is fair to say that even skeptics of the SGR program agree that ‘The Secret’ and ‘The Law of Attraction’ have greatly enhanced millions of peoples lives.
I personally have not purchased the SGR Program, but personally I think that $1995 is good value or the sheer amount and quality of self-development material they give you.
The fact that you can become an affiliate and earn money from it is just a bonus.
It’s no different to going to a nice restaurant and then telling your friends about it so that they can go to the same restaurant.
I have already spent more than the asking price on personal development and it was worth every penny (or cent, I’m from the UK).
If you want to improve your life by studying a personal development program, this looks like a fantastic product (especially considering it includes an MP3 player with all the content on) - And look at the affiliate scheme as an additional bonus. Or you can spend a similar amount on other products without the affilate program.
May 14th, 2007 at 5:51 pm
Hey Olly,
If you haven’t purchased the course I take it you’ve signed up as a basic affiliate?
I understand you may want to protect your interests as you are probably selling this program, so making it sound good will help your sales.
However you said “spend a similar amount on other products without the affilate program.”, this is very much false information. There are plenty of cheaper products without the affiliate system that are practically the same as the SGR Program.
Already the market for this product has become very saturated, the free affiliate program has allowed many who want to make a quick buck to join the sgr program resulting in more sellers than buyers.
If you look at the basic theory of demand and supply, inorder for a market under such conditions to survive the sellers have to cut their prices but since the SGR Program has a fixed price, there’s no way a seller can…
What’s interesting though, is I noticed a few people who work for Bob Proctor and who were part of the SGR Team were offering US$500 discounts on the program.
Who do you think is gonna do better?
It’s pretty evident from this that this is nothing more than a scam. The people behind the SGR Program have used the theory of demand and supply to their advantage to help them grow rich. Just look at Brian Wong as an example..
cheers,
Andrew

WOW! This was quite an interesting read. I have been looking into the SGR program for a couple of weeks. The promo is excellent & being someone that has put considerable time into various schools of thought I believe the materials to be a quality purchase. It seems you would also have the opportunity to learn a lot about internet marketing on top of sharing your experience with the program with others. Here are some good questions to ask yourself.
Even if you didn’t make money with it would you grow as an individual in a way that would benefit yourself and others?
How important is the money?
Could you improve yourself spending less than $1995.00? OR are you in it to change your mindset & turn some profit all the while assisting others to do the same?
If nothing comes of it for you will that be something that stops you from moving forward with other goals?
I have emailed one SGR affiliate to ask how they have done with the program. They were very honest and positive in their response saying it had been more about learning & self growth for them. They did not feed me any misleading information about sales.
I am still on the fence about this. Not to imply anything negative about the program but it is a large amount of money to drop for only self improvement. (my opinion for myself only) The blog was disturbing to a degree and does address some concerns I had that I didn’t know how to get ansewered. (market saturation, others being much more internet marketing savey & therefore having the ability to move into the market more quickly.)Their good fortune & I’m happy for them.
Most of the affiliates I’ve seen on the internet seemed like honest & good people. There are a few out there however that look like a commercial for the rich & famous. I never feel good about those.
I seemed to have many obstacles that got in my way too on a few occasions when I was about to sign up. It was pretty obvious the Universe was attempting to get me to look a little deeper.(I had been asking for assistance with my decision)Well anyway…theres my input.
May 16th, 2007 at 12:47 pm
I am seriously thinking about joining the SGR course. I am doing my research on it now. But as far as I know, John Derrick is the only person who is paying me money to signup.
Yes, John Derrick will pay anyone to join the SGR course.

I loved The Secret. People have been saying it resonates - yes, it does. But now I have just found this SGR scheme and I felt so sad: “oh no, is that all the Secret was, a preamble to a cynical sales pitch?” I agree about Michael, he’s a joy to listen to, and you hope his title “Rev” means he’s on the level. Actually, I thought Bob and Jack also came across well. So all this beating of gums about pyramid selling has been a big wake up. If these guys are so successful I find it a little incredible that they made such a wopping mistake. Naive or naughty? I suppose it is possible to get it wrong about selling stuff in Malaysia. I wonder how Ebay manages!
But Andrew, while it is creditable that you are doing so much research, you feel like an assault on the senses. You have gone beyond doing anyone a favour - it’s become a rant, which is pity. Less would have definitely been more
Personally I want to know
a) whether this is above board as a sales scheme. Andrew has thrown doubt on this, and I’m no further forward. And
b) whether the real message is worth $1995, to apply in your life however you like, not just in pyramid selling.
If b) is Yes, that’s great, but then I feel that it’s a shame to have sullied the message of the Secret by tacking this scheme onto it. Made it tacky by association.

I must say I was incredibly disappointed when I discovered the SGR Program. This program is riding on the coattails of the Secret.
Weather you are on the fence, a owner of an SGR Program or against it like Andrew Geller is. I have a unique understanding of systems like the SGR Program. I worked for a company that produced a similar product and I watched how many people spent hard earn money which turned out little return.
Reading, “Could you improve yourself spending less than $2000″, I just thought to myself, how silly of a statement is that. The Secret DVD tells you that you need to believe in yourself, and be positive. I improved myself with a $20 DVD.
It was a very interesting read. Thank you.
September 11th, 2007 at 11:59 am
i read over the blog here last night after searching on google for the SRG program. i wish to direct my words to Andrew.
From what i understand Andrew, you are attempting to illuminate on some ways the SGR program at launch was illegal and that certain information was withheld etc. You say that you are genuinely concerned for the investment that people have laid out or will lay out for the SGR program. As well as your continued FOCUS on mistakes that were made initially at launch of the SGR program.
Anyways, ENOUGH, on what you have said, it’s all in the past NOW. i would suggest that if you really wish to be a benefit to man-womankind then please use your power of FOCUS to be in the moment of NOW and direct that FOCUS to what it is you WANT, not on what on the lack or by judging others. Not only have you done a disservice to anyone involved or that would like to be involved in the SGR program, but you have missed the boat entirely with what the ‘law of attraction’ is all about! FOCUS on what it is you want, not on the lack of it. And most importantly, FOCUS that power in the present moment, not on PAST events. It is a universal fact that to have change in your life presently you need to FOCUS on what it is you would like and have clarity and deep emotion and feelings on those thoughts, NOT on what is presently in your FOCUS. From what i have seen, you have used your power to FOCUS on past events that you say people should be aware of about the SGR program. Imagine if someone kept focusing on Edison’s first few attempts at making the light bulb stating how they failed etc. Any business venture will have continuous changes to it as that venture is progressed through time. To FOCUS on initial changes is insane and can only get you what it is you are FOCUSING on.
Another thing about saturation of the SGR program out there, i think actually that would be a phenomenal thing! The money out there is abundant, there is no lack, there’s enough for everyone. My point is if everyone was a seller and used the program to enrich their lives, wouldnt this be a totally different planet? There is true power in the words and ideas that this program or system has at its root. Believe what your heart tells you through your feelings in the PRESENT. Bob Proctor and others, from what i have read gave heartfelt communication to people’s concerns. If you feel they were vague, maybe it was on purpose and NOT to misdirect people’s attention for the reasons you have stated, BUT for others reasons, like ‘What they chose to FOCUS on and have come about in their lives and the peoples lives that wish to spread the wisdom of the SGR program, as well as, the joy and excitement people feel while offering information to others. You spoke of alot of people who have been disappointed and are not making money from their investment of the SGR program. All i can hope for is that all those people you directed to this site and others to read your concerns about the past is that they learn to FOCUS on what it really is they WANT and to keep that FOCUS in mind while people like yourself Andrew and your EGO constantly remind and model for them, your FOCUS on the past, what it is you lack or dont want, and to squander their power by doing so.
Our true creative power is utilized in this very moment, NOW! not by FOCUSING on the past, judging others etc. i know you owe alot of people an appology after first forgiving yourself for your misguided intentions, especially Cathy. i don’t know Cathy, or her real name, but i fully understand why a woman might not want to use her real name on the net today.
i hope everyone that has been led or that will read anything here on this site will use their true power in this moment and be aware of their feelings. Our feelings our OUR TRUTH. If you feel bad, it is your inner source letting you know that you are off course in this moment and it ( your present FOCUS) is leading you in a direction to where you do not WANT to go based on your desires. GOD BLESS all of you, may you live fully in each golden moment of NOW!
AMEN
Love Steve aka SwampRocker!
September 19th, 2007 at 6:23 am
Steve,
As a former affiliate I’ve been following this story for a while now and your post was quite entertaining however I feel that YOU may have missed the boat.
I’m not sure whether you’re a current affiliate of the SGR Program or perhaps someone behind the scheme itself but judging from your comments it sure looks that way.
If I may I would like to address some of the issues in with your post.
The Journalist - Andrew, brought up some very important issues with regard to this program and I applaud him for doing so. After reading what he had discovered and doing a little searching myself I decided to drop out as an affiliate as this Program was clearly an MLM. Most of us reading know all to well how dangerous MLM’s are!
Although the course was modified later, affiliates and subscribers had the right to know that it was illegal in its first couple of months. The affiliate scheme was later adjusted due to the threat of a class action lawsuit against Bob proctor and company. Why shouldn’t people have the right to know about the legality of this system? It cost US$2000 which is a small fortune to many.
Iregradless of time - Information like this is valuable and can be the deciding factor for most that are interested in purchasing this course. Hiding such information is only beneficial to existing affiliates and Bob Proctor who stand to make money.
It’s like buying a car. If I were to buy a car - I would like to know the mileage, previous owner etc. Buying a car blindly without knowing the history behind it would just be plain FOOLISH. It could be stolen!!
I completely disagree with your statement ” i would suggest that if you really wish to be a benefit to man-womankind then please use your power of FOCUS to be in the moment of NOW and direct that FOCUS to what it is you WANT, not on what on the lack or by judging others.”
The information provided by Andrew does serve a purpose to the community. It helps prevent scammers like David Schirmer and Bob Proctor from making fools out of the average joe. Like I said before, it was upon the discovery of Andrew’s material that I pulled out of the course and I’m very happy I did so. The SGR Program has gone bust and many affiliates are not happy with it and there have been countless complaints with regards to the system. Which to be honest was pretty much expected since this was a Pyramid Scheme.
From your comment it seems that you would like some current information on the program. Not to worry mate. I’ve got some information that will help you better understand my concerns with this course.
If you’re a fan of the Secret and the Law of attraction. You must have heard of David Schirmer. The only Australian featured in the secret who apparently claimed to receive check’s in the mail. Well it turns out that David Schirmer got those checks in the mail by asking people to invest in his company - Life Success Pacific Rim. Schirmer took money from people with the promise that they would see a return on their investment. However most of the money taken from his investors was used to fund his own lavish lifestyle i.e. a au$250, 000 dollar dining table.
A National Television Show did and expose on Schirmer who admitted to owing people hundreds of thousands of dollars and David Schirmer is now being investigated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission for Fraud. He was supposed to return the money to his investors but failed to keep to his promises instead he dissmissed claims and in such had some of his companies suspended by Federal Authorities. Schirmer may now face Bankrupcy, Jailtime and a hefty fine.
How, you may ask is this story related to the SGR Program and Bob Proctor?
In the United States, Bob Proctor runs Life Success PLC ( Bob’s own company) and in the Pacific, Bob teamed up with Schirmer to form Life Success Pacific Rim.The company is now under investigation for Multiple Fraud Cases in Australia ( Unpaid Wages, Unpaid Taxes, Unpaid Services, Unpaid Investors…the list is endless). Schirmer introduced the SGR Program in Australia with Bob under Life Success Pacific Rim and gained investors for Life Success by riding on the Popularity of the Secret.
So, ask yourself if you would want to invest in a Program run by two guys under investigation for Multiple counts of Fraud?
If that wasn’t already enough, there’s no stopping Bob. He recently announced that he will be doing a seminar onboard a cruise. But Guess what…On the cruise Bob will also be featuring New Thought star Mary Morrissey, whose husband Edward served prison time for laundering money and using funds from his wife’s church for personal expenses, so maybe there will be something of a sense of continuity.
The whole purpose of the cruise is to relaunch the SGR Program. Bob’s final attempt to make a load of cash from unsuspecting followers before he pulls the plug on it and introduces a new program he’s developed with Mary. I’ve been waiting to see the new program and it should be very interesting. Based on what I’ve learnt of Bob so far, his expertise clearly is Fraud. Maybe he should do a course on that - so other potential con artists can make money just like he has.
Steve, I don’t think you have a clear idea what the Law of Attraction is. By providing the public with information that was withheld from them I don’t see how andrew has done a disservice to anyone except those that stood a chance to make money from the SGR Program.
Taking the Law of Attraction into account, Andrew’s comments were inevitable since Bob brought it on himself by keeping information from the public.
The same would apply to David Schirmer’s and Bob Proctor’s run in with the Law. By you’re assumption of the Law of attraction. What is happening to both of them is justified. They conned people so now the Universe is getting back at them.
I agree, that is not healthy to dwell on the past. But Steve, we learn from the past. There’s no present without a past and we grow stronger from learning from mistakes in the past. This is also a Universal fact.
When Andrew posted his comments they were during the time the SGR Program had launched so they were techincally his present thoughts and he was not dwelling on the past. He provided information we could all learn from and benefit from in the future and there is nothing wrong with that!
Imagine if Edison did not look into the mistakes he made in the first few Light Bulb’s he made. He would have never discovered their flaws and been able to correct them. You don’t always nail an invention in the first try. By learning from his mistakes he was able to develop a fully functional light bulb, and today information on edison’s inventions in the past have help us further develop the lightbulb. To say that we should ignore the Past is probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. By your logic - We wouldn’t have any of the inventions we use today.
Business may go through changes. But if we don’t review those initial changes how could we progress? Think about it mate. Your philosophy is pretty weak.
“Another thing about saturation of the SGR program out there, i think actually that would be a phenomenal thing!”
Wow. Words of a true SGR Program Insider / high ranking affiliate. Obviously you’re not clear on what Market Saturation is? To claim that Market Saturation is a phenomenal thing is almost like saying the guy behind the Ponzi Scheme should be knighted. Essentially Market Saturation means that when - many sellers enter the market for one particular product. Only the strong will survive. In the case of the SGR Program ( High Ranking Affiliates that are also Partners in the course - Brian Proctor, Stephen Pierce and Mindvalley). They know all the tips and tricks to make the course work for them and even had a headstart in selling the course which gave them a very strong advantage.
Regular folks who try and promote their affiliate page will just be shot down and wont stand a chance to make much money or even cover their initial investment for that matter. Market Saturation is one of the key elements of a Pyramid Scheme and is also the element which makes it illegal and a garunteed failure (by which I mean the company running the scheme will eventually shut it down and start a new one).
“My point is if everyone was a seller and used the program to enrich their lives, wouldnt this be a totally different planet? ”
Nice sales pitch but unfortunately I wasn’t born yesterday. Scheme’s like the SGR Program do not have a very high success rate and this has been very evident. Only Proctor and his company benefit from it. Most actually loose money to it. I highly doubt it many would become rich selling this scam.
“There is true power in the words and ideas that this program or system has at its root.”
Very true and most of that including the Mp3 and books are available online for free if you know where to look.
“Bob Proctor and others, from what i have read gave heartfelt communication to people’s concerns.”
I met with someone who had involvement with this course. Bob’s replies were set by his lawyers to prevent legal action against him. He did not bring up any of the concerns Andrew raised and FAILED to come clean.
“You spoke of alot of people who have been disappointed and are not making money from their investment of the SGR program. All i can hope for is that all those people you directed to this site and others to read your concerns about the past is that they learn to FOCUS on what it really is they WANT and to keep that FOCUS in mind while people like yourself Andrew and your EGO constantly remind and model for them, your FOCUS on the past, what it is you lack or dont want, and to squander their power by doing so.Our true creative power is utilized in this very moment, NOW! not by FOCUSING on the past, judging others etc”
What Andrew stated was an absolute fact. The SGR Program has been a dissapointment to many including my self and I have removed all association of my self from it. That way when the ship sinks I’ll be safely at shore.
Steve. I must say. Your advice is very misleading and is a misrepresentation of the Law of Attraction to benefit the SGR Program and yourself.
You said that people should focus on what they want. I agree. But one learns from the past. For example: Today one would dismiss a Nigerian Letter or a Ponzi Scheme because of what we know of them from past experiences. If society dismessed past experiences and only focused on the future we wouldn’t learn anything valuable and fall victim to more scams. Perhaps this is what you are aiming for.
I don’t believe Andrew owes anyone and apology and infact I feel many of us who got the red flags about this program before it’s too late owe him a “Thank You”. He did the public a favour and didn’t ask for anything in return. He provided fact where none was given and helped stop proctor from scamming more suckers out of their hard earned money.
If you took the time to research before you write you would know that Cathy Lane aka the owner of this Blog is infact one of the People behind the SGR Program and this Blog was used by her as a promotion tool to the course. She was well aware of the flaws behind this course but failed to provide an insight into the matter. Instead her company tried to Buy off the reporter so he would stop posting comments by offering him free tickets/products.
I would hardly sympathize with someone with such low morals. Who despite knowing the truth denied every last bit of information in the public eye whilst agreeing to mistakes in an email conversation with the reporter. It mimics the behaviour of David Schirmer.
My hopes are very different from yours. I hope that everyone reading this will know fully understand the controversy behind this scam and think twice before investing in it or any other like it. I also hope that people reading this will the length affiliates will go to feed their hunger for money despite their actions being moral, just or ethical. I hope people will focus on the present as well (in this case David Schirmers and Bob Proctors run in with the Law) and learn from the past ( The legal issues brought up by Andrew Geller on the SGR Program).
Becareful about how you spend your money! If it sounds to good to be true it usually is…My advice - Consult a real professional and not someone who claims to be one. Bob proctor claims to be a success coach but so did David Schirmer and so does Dr. Joe Vitale. Who is even a real doctor “Dr.” - He gave himself the title to establish credibility which inturn gets him money.
Sigining off,
Wendy

Jas, that’s beside the point. The altruism, or lack thereof, of the critics is not the issue here. The greed of the SGR principals (and principles) IS the issue.

Good morning all.
I stumbled across this blog while researching David Schirmer, who we all know about by now. I’ve read a lot of stuff related to The Secret, including the book The Science of Getting Rich, and loved most of it. I’ve never heard of the SGR system, and don’t have anything to do with it.
I do realise there are many people who don’t like the principle of the law of attraction, thinking it’s all too easy, and I respect that. Everyone who has a need to pursue a spiritual path should find one they feel comfortable with, and the choice they make has nothing to do with anybody else.
I am sorry that so many people associated with the secret were discredited, as I still feel it has a powerful message. As mentioned before, there are many sources out there offering the same help/guidance, costing a lot less than $2000. (Again, I don’t know anything about SGR apart from what I’ve read here, and I’m not saying it’s too expensive, but people are bound to feel uncomfortable after reading this blog).
I suggest googling the teachers on The Secret you particularly liked, most of them have websites of their own. I’ve done exactly this, and found wonderful sites. I wish I could name my favourite, but I don’t want to be accused of selling. Also, it didn’t cost me $2000.In fact, my favaourite daily emails are totally free.
If you were uncomfortable with the message behind the Secret, look for something else until you find what you need. On the other hand, if it did mean something to you, don’t be put off by everything you’ve read about some of its teachers. Most of the teachers I’ve researched were wonderful, and I learnt a lot from them.

There is one thing that I wish people would consider about spirituality. There is no free ride. No matter how much you pay for a course you’ve got to do the inner work. No one can do it for you, just like no one can eat for you. If something sounds too good to be true to you, trust that it is. If you want to change your life, you’ve got to change within and until that happens you can’t see manifest what you seek because you cannot buy right of consciousness. Your inner power is and will always be within you whether you are aware of it or not. It doesn’t charge a fee to be acknowledged or contacted. It is your guidance, it knows all the answers and all you need to do to fix your life. You must learn to work with your inner power and guidance first and only then will you be guided to do what’s right for you.
It is unecessary to criticize this program as everything in life is either a blessing or one more step forward. What is important is that you not give up and continue your journey and you will find the answers you seek. Each person is responsible for their own doings so don’t worry about them and just be concerned with yourself.

Andrew, I’ve sent you an email, to both emails you put here.
I have signed up as an affiliate, but to only find out further about the scam. There are so many affiliates now, and as you said, the competition is rising.
The briefcase is useless, do you actually think the material in it will get rid of your debt?
SGR will not solve debt or any financial problems. These “teachers” don’t understand how the economy works, they are exploiting “The Secret” fans!
This is not about the secret anymore, the con artists have taken over!

Wow, that respectable area morbidly proved in front of a representative patient. As everyone knows, one head is far more faint than a welcome market.
