Following the controversy surrounding Michael Beckwith I was trying to find information on whether God wants human kind to be wealthy. I came across a remarkably moving video with quotes from Michael Beckwith himself.
The source of this video describes their feelings upon hearing this for the first time:

I appeal to the public to view Vanessa Bonnette’s website at - http://www.shekinahtherapy.com.au
In 2003 Australian Author/Therapist Vanessa Bonnette released her book “Empowered for the New Era”. Recent investigations have revealed R. Byrne’s book “The Secret” is an almost word for word replica of Vanessa’s book. Is this a coincidence? In 2005 Vanessa’s book was sent to Channel 9 for TV promotion and advertising, apparently this is where Byrne worked.
My only suggestion is that you discern for yourself who is the true author of the secret and ask the question: Is Byrne’s biggest secret about to be revealed?

I hope Rhonda Byrne is able to tell the truth, because as Denise Linn says, “the soul loves the truth”.
If she has passed Vanessa Bonnette’s work off as her own, then I am sure the law of attraction will come back and bit her on the ass.

These teachings have been around for thousands of years.You can’t own the truth. If you understand the message of ‘The Secret’, then why would you be afraid of someone else’s success. The Universe is abundant.

It is not only important for many of us,just the authorship of the trascendental; and I think universal teachings presented now by Michael Beckwith, in this dvd. But the way the words are said and the ancient truths are communicated to us, directly to our hearts vibrating with the emotions and feelings of love and wealth and admiration of God. That is where Michael excels. So once again thanks a lot Michael, you are a remarkable preacher. Silver
