So many people were left devastated to find out that Esther Hicks was to be left out of The Secret by mutual consent. For many of you the teachings of Abraham and the Law of Attraction formed the basis for the whole principles behind the film. The response to that news was overwhelming and it’s evident that Esther Hicks is held in the highest regards by people all over the world. Admiration for Esther Hicks seems boundless and believe me I understand why.
For the later arrivals of you to the awe-inspiring movie The Secret you don’t get the opportunity to purchase and watch the original cut of the movie before the saddening omission. After working up a sweat trying to find these sensational scenes from the original cut I have to share them with you all as a gift to you and human kind.
I really hope you enjoy the scenes!!!

Michael Beckwith Take On God And Being Rich
Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007Following the controversy surrounding Michael Beckwith I was trying to find information on whether God wants human kind to be wealthy. I came across a remarkably moving video with quotes from Michael Beckwith himself.
The source of this video describes their feelings upon hearing this for the first time:

The Secret Lacks Spirituality?
Wednesday, March 28th, 2007I’ve been surfing many forums and the issue of how religion and spirituality fit in to The Secret and the Law of Attraction really fascinates me. Many Christians feel that The Secret is not in fact a Secret, they have known about this for centuries. We know great figures throughout history like Shakespeare and Newton have known this; so they have a point.
BUT Does The Secret lack spirituality? Is it Hypocritical to follow The Secret and practice religion? Check out this take from a devout Christian who feels that The secret has veered away from the spiritual path.

With the Law of Attraction being all the rage I decided it was time to develop a site that would place emphasis on the SPIRITUAL aspect of the Law of Attraction since the concept is rooted in the Bible, anyway.
It is my belief that it is not an impersonal “Universe” that allows us to use our thoughts, feelings and actions to manifest a better life. It is God, Jehovah Jireh, who is the ultimate provider and healer. It is He who allows us use our minds, our gifts and our talents so that we may do HIS good work.
Spirituality and the “Secret”
The issue I have with the “Secret,” is not the innate message (I’m all for the Law of Attraction, obviously) but the delivery of it. The DVD and book constantly make reference to the Universe, the Universe, the Universe, almost as though God and Jesus Christ are just par for the course. Oh, there is mention of them alright, but very casual without the sense of reverence you would expect given the subject matter.
Beyond that, the “Secret” has now become this big franchise, meaning that it is moving into the realm of over-marketing and over-commercialism. Remember “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”
Now we know that God does not want us to be poor. There is nothing wrong in making money. He wants us to have lots of riches — but it is to glorify and magnify his name; to bring others to Christ and to serve a higher purpose.
Consequently, I feel it is time to put spirituality back into the “Secret” so that it doesn’t get lost in the attraction shuffle.

There’s one take, BUT come on- there’s so many more questions that are left unanswered. I’ve seen so many differences in opinion on this matter and I want to know where you stand. The movie The Secret featured religious visionaries such as Michael Beckwith, founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center who are recognized throughout the world.
Does The Secret go hand and hand with Religion?
Does the Law of Attraction go hand and hand with Religion?
Has The Secret Lost its Spirituality?
God doesn’t want us to be poor, BUT does The Secret take it too far?
Is there hypocrisy here? Where does it Lie?

Plea To Michael Beckwith- Please Don’t Go Michael
Friday, March 23rd, 2007If the rumours turn out to be true Michael Beckwith might be taking a back seat in the Science of Getting Rich Program that was just launched by some of the teachers of The Secret. There’s been speculation that Michael Beckwith might be getting flack from religious groups expressing concerns over the commercial nature of The Science of Getting Rich Program.

World leader and teacher in the New Though-Ancient Wisdom tradition of spirituality. He is the founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center counting 10,000 local members and hundreds of thousands of fans all around the world.
If the rumours are true, then these people are missing a very important point. The Science of Getting Rich is a multi faceted phrase that not only has financial connotations but also refers to having a pleasantly complete, and well-rounded life. The course teaches that a rich life is one full of happiness and anything imaginable. The Law of Attraction will grant anything we so desire.

This is my plea to everybody out there who wants to see Michael Beckwith help everyone live up to their wildest dreams and expectations to show how much of an inspiration Michael is to you and to stop him from pulling out of this initiative.
The material, with both audio and video clips Michael has, delivers such a powerful message that it should play a part. And his role in The Secret is nothing short of breathtaking. I really hope the rumours aren’t true. His teachings are wonderful and will hopefully remain a core part of the Science of Getting Rich Program. Michael Beckwith does such a wonderful job in explaining how anyone can be of greater service to the world once they practice the spiritual principles in the Science of Getting Rich.
Please let Michael and everyone know how much he is appreciated and how much you want him to be part of this Program.
